1. Introduction & Applicability

This Broadcasting Policy ("Policy") governs access to and use of World TV, a broadcasting service operated within the World Premium platform ("Platform," "we," "us," "our"). This Policy applies to every individual, creator, business, or organization that books a broadcast slot, submits content, or operates a channel on World TV ("Channel," "you"), across all networks including Entertainment, News, Sports, Kids, Education, Bhakti/Religious, and Regional programming, and any networks subsequently added by the Platform.

By booking a slot, submitting content, or otherwise using World TV, you accept and agree to be bound by this Policy in its entirety, without modification. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. Definitions

  • Slot - a reserved unit of broadcast time on a specific network, sold and scheduled by the Platform.
  • Content - any video, audio, graphic, or associated metadata submitted by a Channel for broadcast.
  • Network - a distinct World TV channel category (e.g., World News TV, World Kids TV).
  • Violation - any breach of Section 3 (Content Standards) or any other provision of this Policy.
  • Material Breach - a Violation that, in the Platform's reasonable judgment, is severe, repeated, or intentional in nature.

3. Content Standards

3.1 Eligible Content
A Channel may broadcast only Content that is either originally created by that Channel or for which the Channel possesses documented, verifiable, and valid rights or licensing. Content must fall within a Platform-recognized Network category.

3.2 Prohibited Content
The following are strictly prohibited without exception:

(a) Content infringing the intellectual property rights of any third party;
(b) Hate speech, or content that incites violence or promotes discrimination based on religion, ethnicity, gender, caste, disability, or community;
(c) Sexually explicit, obscene, or adult material;
(d) False, fabricated, or materially misleading information, with heightened prohibition within News programming;
(e) Deceptive medical, financial, or health-related claims;
(f) Content depicting, promoting, or facilitating illegal activity;
(g) Any content unsuitable for general or younger audiences broadcast on the Kids Network.

The Platform may expand this list at its discretion and will make reasonable efforts to notify Channels of material updates in advance of enforcement.

3.3 Content Classification

Misclassification of Content - whether negligent or intentional - is a Violation and, where the misclassified Content was broadcast on the Kids Network, is treated as a Material Breach.

3.4 Content Review
All Content is subject to automated and/or human review prior to broadcast. News, Kids, and Religious categories are subject to enhanced review. The Platform retains an unconditional, unilateral right to interrupt or terminate any broadcast - live or scheduled - immediately and without prior notice upon identifying a Violation.

4. Slot Booking Terms

4.1 Exclusivity - Each Slot is allocated exclusively to a single Channel. Duplicate or concurrent bookings of the same Slot are void and will be automatically rejected.

4.2 Confirmation - A Slot booking is provisional and non-binding on the Platform until full payment has been received and processed. Availability is not guaranteed prior to payment confirmation.

4.3 Advance Notice - Bookings must be submitted no later than the minimum advance-notice period applicable to the relevant Network and pricing tier, as published by the Platform.

4.4 Cancellation & Rescheduling - Cancellation or rescheduling requests submitted before the applicable deadline will be processed per the schedule published at time of booking. Requests submitted after the deadline are handled entirely at the Platform's discretion and are presumptively non-refundable.

4.5 Refund Matrix

Broadcast failure caused by a Platform-side technical faultFull refund
Cancellation submitted within the applicable deadlinePartial refund, per published schedule
Slot cancelled by the Platform due to a ViolationNo refund
Cancellation submitted after the applicable deadlineNo refund

4.6 Content Submission Deadline - Final Content and metadata must be submitted by the deadline specified for the applicable Slot. Failure to meet this deadline results in forfeiture of the Slot without refund.

5. Pricing

Slot pricing is set by the Platform based on Network category, time-of-day demand, and other commercial factors, and is disclosed in full prior to booking confirmation. Total cost comprises the Slot fee plus applicable statutory taxes only; no undisclosed fees apply. The Platform may revise its pricing structure at any time; revisions apply prospectively and do not affect bookings confirmed prior to the effective date of the change.

6. Live Broadcasting

Section 3 (Content Standards) applies in full to live broadcasts without modification. Channels must accurately designate, at time of booking, whether a broadcast will be live or pre-recorded. The Platform may terminate any live broadcast immediately and without notice upon identifying a Violation, and shall bear no liability for losses arising from such termination where the termination was validly grounded in this Policy.

7. Channel Obligations & Warranties

By submitting Content, the Channel represents and warrants that:
(a) it holds all rights necessary to broadcast the Content;
(b) the Content does not infringe any third-party right;
(c) the Content complies fully with Section 3.

Misrepresentation under this Section constitutes a Material Breach. The Channel bears sole responsibility for the timely readiness of Content ahead of its scheduled Slot; delays attributable to the Channel do not entitle the Channel to a refund, credit, or rescheduling accommodation.

8. Enforcement & Penalties

Violations are addressed on a graduated basis at the Platform's discretion, which may include: content removal, Slot cancellation without refund, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of the Channel. Material Breaches, or repeated Violations within a rolling period defined by the Platform, may result in immediate permanent termination without prior warning. Enforcement decisions are final except where applicable law requires review, appeal, or regulatory intervention.

9. Platform Rights

The Platform reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion and without liability, to:
(a) review, approve, reject, or remove any Content or booking prior to or during broadcast;
(b) suspend or permanently terminate any Channel for breach of this Policy;
(c) amend this Policy at any time, with amendments effective upon publication and applying prospectively only.

Continued use of World TV following publication of an amended Policy constitutes acceptance of that amendment.

10. Viewer Protections

Viewers may report Content believed to violate this Policy via the in-platform reporting mechanism; all reports are reviewed under standard Platform moderation procedures. Parental control features are planned for the Kids Network. All advertising broadcast on World TV is subject to Section 3 in full; misleading or deceptive advertising is prohibited without exception.

11. General Provisions

  • Severability - If any provision of this Policy is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
  • No Waiver - Failure by the Platform to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
  • Entire Policy - This Policy, together with any referenced pricing/refund schedules, constitutes the entire agreement between the Platform and the Channel with respect to World TV broadcasting.

12. Emergency Broadcast Override

The Platform may interrupt, replace, suspend, delay, or terminate any scheduled or live broadcast due to emergency circumstances including technical failures, legal orders, public safety concerns, national emergencies, cybersecurity incidents, or force majeure events.

13. Force Majeure

The Platform shall not be liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, cyberattacks, governmental actions, power failures, or telecommunications disruptions.

14. News Liability Disclaimer
